Susan: James and I cooked our first supper tonight. The frozen chicken meatball thingies were good. James stir-fried some veggies. My rice was soggy. Safe travels, Rick
Mom, you cut your hair! Guess that makes sense... I love these "starting" pictures! Will Elke walk on her leash most of the time? She's such a good dog. xoxo
No. Elke has not walked on her leash the whole time. She is our trail finder. She's usually out ahead bouncing along and almost always turns the right direction when there's a split in the trail..... (unless she smells something interesting!)
How exciting!! I just read "As Far as the Eye Can See", and thought of you ladies during every page. I've been daydreaming about joining you soon. You guys look amazing. Just look at those packs!
Megaloo! Thank you so much for the hand stuff! It is amazing and we use it every time..... well, you know when we use it! We've thought about you so many times. Wasabi peas in trail mix, wildflowers, etc. Thank you!
Uh, I wrote on an earlier entry on accident - woops! Everyone is waiting to hear an update. On pins and needles. Praying for you daily (and trying not to sound jealous while speaking with God!) Wine tasting tomorrow night - we'll miss you!
You wouldn't be jealous of us today! It's COLD and RAINING! Maybe snow tonight. Thank goodness we're at Woods Hole STILL! May stay one more night! I hope the wine tasting went well!

DeleteHave a blast! I am surprised at the sleekness of you packs and the relative lightness. WOW. Safety first. Always safety first. Lisa

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure Elke looks all that enthusiastic. Think maybe she wants another couple of days loungin' at Big Walker?
